We would like to thank the people who make our food possible, namely the farmers.
Local farmers include:
Celeste Albers – The Green Grocer – She raises the chickens who lay the delicious eggs that you enjoy at brunch and in all our baked goods.
Rita Bachman – Rita’s Roots – She works with Riad Rayess to grow a wide variety of veggies from arugula to winter squash. She IS the next generation of farmers!
Dan Kinnerty – Kinnerty Farms – He and his wife supply us with veggies ranging from asparagus to potatoes, and his honey makes our cornbread extra special.
Kimberly – Raul’s Seafood – She provides local shrimp and fresh crab year round.
The Upstate Farmers Alliance – they provide us with whole hogs, lamb and chicken livers.
Allan Benton – www.bentonshams.com – While Allan resides a bit outside the Lowcountry (in Madisonville, TN), he cures such amazing bacon and ham that we consider his product a necessity.
Our all natural ice cream is made locally by Wholly Cow – www.whollycowicecream.com
